who are ya?
I am a researcher, artist, pedagogue, and Professor of Pedagogy and Praxis. My work moves with making, learning, and unlearning- entangling theory with tools, texts with textures, and pedagogy with poetics.
I work with with matter, with others. I listen. I learn. I refuse. I make. I am drawn to the ruptures that unsettle dominant ways of knowing and open space for co-creation, relation, and critical becoming.
My research is underpinned by feminist, new materialist, and practice-based methodologies. I work across institutional and informal settings, often in collaborative and co-authored ways. Whether breaking down old sheds, co-writing-making or reimagining national learning programmes, I hold practice as ethical, embodied acts.
I currently lead the national learning programme for the Artsmark Award in partnership with Arts Council England (2023-2026). I lead the practice research PhD in Art Practice and Learning and served as Academic Director for International Development and Academic Partnerships (2019–2023). With my research, pedagogy and praxis, I review and examine grant proposals, academic programmes, PhD submissions, and scholarly publications.
